    What is a white sage leaf?

    The medium-to-large leaves of white sage shrubs typically have an elliptical to lanceolate form and range in length from 7 to 10 cm. The evergreen, matte, waxy leaves have a silvery, white look due to a thin layer of tiny hairs covering them. Here in Half Moon Bay, California, we grow ceremonial white sage (Salvia apiana). We cultivate, manage, and harvest the organically grown ceremonial white sage (Salvia apiana) using dry farming methods. A large sack filled with dried white sage leaves and stems in a range of sizes is part of the loose-leaf collection item.
